1970 Ford Mustang Mach 1

1. Arrival of the car, initial inspection

One of the most interesting projects, a 1970 Ford Mustang Mach 1, the so-called M-Code (351 ci engine with a 4-barrel carburettor producing 300 HP) in a version with an FMX automatic transmission. The car came to us from Louisiana, and judging by its technical condition, it had probably been standing outside for the last few decades.

2. During renovation

After inspection, the car was carefully dismantled and individual parts were assessed to determine whether they were suitable for regeneration and reuse. At this stage, we removed the bodywork parts that needed to be replaced. Next, the Mustang was sandblasted and protected with a primer. The bodywork involved replacing most of the components with new ones. After carefully fitting the car, the welds, closed profiles and other critical areas were protected against corrosion. The car was then painted by a painter. In the meantime, we rebuilt the engine and prepared the remaining parts for assembly. After the vehicle was returned by the painter, it was reassembled.
